Tudor House in Thornbury, Bristol, is the eighth all-inclusive care home operated by Oyster Care Homes in the South of England and has introduced Amanda Hawley as it’s General Manager.
Tudor House will be hosting a Grand Opening celebration with special guest and Gogglebox favourite, Reverand Kate Bottley, on Thursday 17th July from 14:00. All are welcome to enjoy live entertainment, tours of Tudor House, refreshments, and much more.
Tudor House has been thoughtfully designed to provide high-quality residential and dementia care for up to 66 older people.
Amanda Hawley brings over 13 years of care home management across small and large care settings. Her expertise spans a wide range of needs, including specialist support through all stages of dementia.
Known for her positive and approachable nature, Amanda is passionate about providing truly person-centred care. She believes in open, honest communication and leads with a collaborative, supportive approach—empowering her team to thrive and ensuring residents and their families feel valued.
Amanda’s goal at Tudor House is to create not just a care home, but a warm and welcoming community where residents can feel a sense of belonging.
