As the Winter Pressure Crisis continues to strain local hospitals, Somer Valley House has stepped up to support frontline workers at the Royal United Hospital Bath.
Emily and Freya, members of the Somer Valley House team, recently visited the hospital to deliver bacon sandwiches and drinks to ambulance crews and the A&E team. The gesture was warmly received by the hardworking emergency staff.
“The crews were so grateful, and it was wonderful to brighten their day,” said Emily.
This act of kindness is part of a wider initiative by Oyster Care Homes to support the NHS during this challenging time. By providing high-quality care and working closely with hospital discharge teams, Oyster Care Homes plays a vital role in alleviating pressures on local hospitals.
