Somer Valley House is committed to fostering strong community relationships, and this week marked another significant step in that direction. Front of House Manager, Emma, attended a coffee morning at St John’s Church in Midsomer Norton, where she was warmly welcomed by the church’s vicars and local community members.
Emma presented the church with a beautifully arranged hamper of treats, which was much appreciated by all attendees. During the event, Emma and the church leaders discussed various ways to build a close relationship between Somer Valley House and the church community. Ideas included organising visits from the church to the care home and creating opportunities for future residents to take part in the church’s events and services.
Their warmth and generosity of spirit was truly touching, and we’re looking forward to welcoming the church community into our home.
