Rownhams Manor Residents Receive Special Visit From Their Feathered Friends

12 September 2024 Rownhams Manor

Rownhams Manor residents had some very special visitors from the Birds of Prey Rescue. They were treated to an informative and fascinating talk about these magnificent birds, learning all about their unique characteristics and how they are cared for. It was a wonderful experience, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed meeting our feathered friends up close.

A special shout-out to our lovely residents, Richard and Julia, who were especially captivated by the visit! Moments like these make every day at Rownhams Manor truly special.

Interaction with animals, like birds of prey, has so many benefits for older people, bringing joy, reducing stress, and even boosting mental wellbeing. Whether it’s birds, pets, or other animals, these encounters are a wonderful way to create meaningful connections and lift the spirits of residents.
