At Rownhams Manor, we believe that staying active and engaged within the wider community is an essential part of our residents’ wellbeing. Recently, our residents enjoyed a fantastic day out at SeaCity Museum, exploring Southampton’s rich maritime heritage and engaging with the fascinating exhibits on display.
The museum visit provided a wonderful opportunity for residents to immerse themselves in the stories of Southampton’s past, including the city’s connection to the Titanic and its role as a major port. Many of our residents found the experience to be both educational and nostalgic, sparking conversations about their own memories and experiences of the city.
Beyond the exhibits, the trip offered a chance to enjoy a change of scenery, socialise with fellow residents, and share laughter and new discoveries. Days out such as this are an important part of life at Rownhams Manor, helping to promote cognitive stimulation, social interaction, and emotional wellbeing.
We are committed to offering enriching experiences that allow our residents to stay connected with the community and continue exploring new interests. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated team for organising such an enjoyable and memorable trip.
