Over the Christmas period, Rownhams Manor came together to spread festive cheer and give back to the local community, raising an impressive £610 for the RSPCA Stubbington Ark. Through the generosity of residents, families, and the wider community, the funds were collected during our Christmas Fayre and through donations for Christmas meals.
Earlier this week, a group from Rownhams Manor, including residents Val and Jan, along with team members, had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Stubbington Ark to deliver the donations in person. During their visit, they were warmly welcomed by the charity’s team and given a tour of the facilities. This inspiring experience highlighted the vital work the RSPCA carries out in rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need.
The visit was a meaningful reminder of the impact small acts of kindness can have. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed seeing the incredible work being done and learning about the animals that are benefiting from the support of the local community.
