Rownhams Manor Care Home Partners with Skills Bootcamps to Inspire Future Health and Social Care Professionals

13 November 2024 Rownhams Manor

Rownhams Manor care home was delighted to collaborate with Bill Truman, Skills Bootcamps Health and Social Care Tutor for Itchen Sixth Form College. Recently, our team has been attending workshops hosted by Bill, aimed at individuals interested in pursuing careers in the care sector.

These sessions offer a valuable platform for us to share insights into the rewarding field of care home services. We’ve been providing learners with an understanding of the day-to-day work involved, the compassionate approach at the heart of our care, and the career pathways available in the sector. By answering learners’ questions and addressing their curiosity about the healthcare industry, we hope to encourage and support the next generation of health and social care professionals.

At Oyster Care Homes, we are passionate about nurturing future talent and raising awareness of the positive impact that careers in care can make. Together with Itchen Sixth Form College, we’re proud to be part of this initiative to inspire and inform those considering a fulfilling career in the health and social care sector.
