          Callum Pearce

          General Manager

Callum has dedicated 13 years to the care sector, starting his journey at the young age of 15 when he discovered his passion for the job. Over the years, he has managed two care homes, successfully turning one around in terms of its CQC rating. By the age of 22, Callum had progressed to Deputy Manager and, at 24, became a Registered Manager. He has led both a 23-bedded turnaround home and a 46-bedded home, gaining extensive experience in elderly and dementia care.

Callum holds qualifications in health and social care at levels 2, 3, 5, and 6 and is currently completing a master’s degree in healthcare management. His passion for delivering high-quality care is evident in his leadership style, which focuses on empowering his team, being visible and approachable to staff, residents, and families, and upholding the belief that “the standards you walk by are the standards you accept.”

With a vision to inspire his team to provide outstanding care, Callum is committed to making Potter House a safe haven for all and an integral part of the community.

          Jess Stuart

          Front of House

Jess brings a strong background in administration across various sectors, including her role as a Reception Supervisor in a busy GP surgery in Aberdeenshire. Her experience in healthcare, combined with her time as a student nurse, gives her a deeper understanding of the care and support residents need at Potter House.

Originally from a rural village in Aberdeenshire, Jess relocated to Yeovil in April 2024 with her partner, who serves in the military. She has quickly become an integral part of the Potter House team, ensuring residents, families, and visitors feel welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her two beloved cats, Beef and Steve (both girls!), often taking them on camping adventures. She also has a passion for languages and has been self-studying Italian and Russian for several years, with aspirations of one day completing a degree in languages.

          Emily Barnes

          Care Manager

With over 16 years of experience in health and social care, Emily brings a wealth of expertise, dedication, and heart to her role. Her career began in nursing homes, where she built a strong foundation in delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

Emily holds a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management and has successfully supported two care homes as an Interim Manager. She’s passionate about leading and supporting her team to deliver high-quality care and takes a particular interest in all things medication-related—always ensuring best practices and resident wellbeing are top priority.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, and staying active at the gym.
