We’re delighted to share that Potter House is now officially open.
Led by our experienced Home Manager, Callum Pearce, and supported by Care Manager Emily Barnes, our dedicated team is ready to deliver exceptional, person-centred care from day one. Over the past few weeks, the team has completed a comprehensive induction programme covering essential areas such as moving and handling, first aid, fire safety, infection control, safeguarding, customer service, dementia care, COSHH, and more, equipping them with the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to provide high-quality, compassionate care.
Potter House offers residential and dementia care across 66 beautifully designed bedrooms, with both respite and long-term placements available.
We are also proud to be pioneering a more sustainable approach to care. Potter House features solar panels, a two-day battery energy store, and ground-source heating – all part of Oyster Care Homes’ commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
