At Oyster Care Homes, we believe in a hands-on approach to supporting our teams and residents. Recently, Jag Bahra, our Regional Trainer, demonstrated this commitment by completing a “back to the floor” shift at Copperfield Court Care Home.
During his time on shift, Jag took on the role of a care assistant, actively helping residents with their daily care needs and assisting during the lunchtime service by ensuring meals were promptly delivered to those dining in their rooms. His engagement with both residents and the care team not only supported our residents’ well-being but also gave Jag invaluable insight into the essential work our care team performs each day to foster happiness and comfort.
By working side-by-side with the dedicated team at Copperfield Court, Jag experienced first-hand the compassion, commitment, and teamwork that define the care at Oyster Care Homes. This opportunity has deepened his appreciation for the crucial role each team member plays in creating a supportive and nurturing environment for our residents.
