Oyster Care Homes is thrilled to welcome Sally Taylor as the Front of House Manager at Lake View Lodge Care Home. Bringing warmth and positivity to her role, Sally looks forward to making each day a joyful experience for our future residents, ensuring they feel at home the moment they walk through the doors.
Sally’s journey into hospitality began at Thanet Technical College in Broadstairs, where she earned her City & Guilds qualifications in General Catering, Hotel Reception, and Housekeeping. Her career then took her to London’s bustling hotel scene, where she gained valuable experience in reservations and accounts. Over time, her passion for customer care led her to the Nursing and Dementia Care sector, where she progressed from Administrator to Hospitality Manager. This blend of hospitality expertise and care home experience makes her an ideal fit for the role at Lake View Lodge.
Sally is enthusiastic about creating a warm, welcoming environment at Lake View Lodge, drawing on her deep commitment to making residents feel supported and valued. “Life is too short not to enjoy it,” she says, a motto she lives by and hopes to bring to every resident’s experience at Lake View Lodge.
Outside of work, Sally enjoys the slower pace of tending to an allotment she shares with her husband, where they grow fresh vegetables and raspberries. Sally and her husband recently adopted two playful kittens, who add even more joy and energy to their home.
