The team at Lake View Lodge is preparing to take to the skies – quite literally – in support of a cause close to their hearts. On Tuesday, 6th May, members of the care home team, along with colleagues from the regional team, will be braving the zip wire challenge over St Andrews Lake, raising funds for Diabetes UK.
Chosen by the residents of Lake View Lodge, the charity holds particular significance for the home, and the upcoming event is already generating excitement – not least because there’s talk of bold fancy dress making an appearance on the day.
From high-flying thrills to high spirits, the challenge promises fun, laughter, and plenty of cheering, with team members hoping to raise both awareness and vital funds for those affected by diabetes.
Supporters are warmly invited to join the team at the lake to cheer them on, or pop in to Lake View Lodge afterwards for a buffet lunch and a well-earned cuppa.
