Lake View Lodge Animal Lovers Lend a Paw to Leybourne RSPCA

12 June 2025 Lake View Lodge

Residents and staff from Lake View Lodge care home in Halling, Kent, took a trip to the RSPCA centre in Leybourne this week, where they spent time with the animals and donated £100 to support the charity’s vital work.

Maria Gibbinson who lives at Lake View Lodge enjoyed a guided tour of the RSPCA centre, meeting a variety of animals and learning more about the charity’s efforts to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets in need. Maria said,

It was a lovely visit to see behind the scenes at the RSPCA and to see what animals are there. Everyone at Lake View Lodge is fantastic, and I was proud to be involved in donating £100 for such a good cause’

The donation was raised through the home’s Easter Fayre in April. Lake View Lodge’s Front of House Manager, Sally Taylor, added,

‘At Lake View Lodge, we believe in nurturing both the wellbeing of our residents and the community around us. A lot of our residents love animals, so supporting the RSPCA is a perfect example of how we can make a positive impact beyond our care home walls.
