The official opening celebration of Somer Valley House recently took place and was a resounding success, bringing together residents, families, local dignitaries, and the wider community for a memorable event.
Renowned actress and singer Anita Harris delighted attendees by officially opening the home and performing a heartfelt song, adding a special touch to the day. Guests were treated to live music by local performer Hannah Glencross, who set the tone with her melodic tunes, creating a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere.
Head Chef Nick impressed everyone with a selection of gourmet tasters that showcased the exceptional dining experience residents can enjoy, and the centrepiece of the day was a stunning Oyster-themed cake, beautifully crafted by Laura.
Visitors had the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art 66-bed facility, meet the dedicated team, and explore the home’s thoughtfully designed spaces.
