Residents from Rownhams Manor recently enjoyed a lovely festive outing to Haskins Garden Centre, where Christmas cheer was well and truly in the air. Accompanied by our wonderful team, residents Jan, Julia, Gill, and Jane took the opportunity to immerse themselves in the magic of the season.
The group explored the dazzling displays of Christmas decorations, taking in the twinkling lights, colourful baubles, and creative festive scenes that brought smiles to everyone’s faces. There was even time for a spot of Christmas shopping, with residents picking out thoughtful gifts and seasonal treats.
But no trip would be complete without a well-deserved break. Residents enjoyed a relaxing moment with hot beverages and cake, sharing stories and laughter as they reflected on their favourite Christmas traditions. It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the festive season together, outside of the care home, and embrace the warmth and joy that this time of year brings.
