Today, our residents at Copperfield Court embraced National Love Your Pet Day, a special occasion dedicated to celebrating the wonderful bond we share with our animal companions. Whether they have fur, feathers, or scales, pets hold a special place in our hearts, and today was all about honouring that connection.
Residents gathered to paint their favourite animals, reminiscing about beloved pets from the past and sharing heartwarming stories. Jessie spoke fondly of her two dogs – Zooki, a Border Collie, and her German Shepherd – while Rosie delighted us with tales of her sausage dog, Truly, whom she lovingly describes as ‘truly scrumptious’.
Adding to the excitement, we welcomed a very special visitor – GiGi the Rottweiler! Her presence brought smiles all around, sparking conversation and creating a warm, joyful atmosphere.
It was a truly wonderful day filled with memories, creativity, and lots of furry love.
