All our rooms are designed as single ensuites, allowing residents to enjoy privacy and personal space. These rooms can be personalised with the resident's own decorations, and mementos to make them feel like a true home.

Garden rooms

The garden rooms provide a serene connection to the outdoors. With lush greenery and natural light, these spaces offer a place to unwind, meditate, or engage in various activities, such as gardening or simply enjoying the view of our beautiful gardens.

Hair salon

Taking good care of your appearance may seem like one of life’s little luxuries, but it can be so important to our well-being. Our hair and beauty salon is open to all our residents and offers a full range of treatments such as hair cuts, wash and blow dry, colours and perms.

Our libraries are tranquil spaces where residents can indulge in their love for reading, research, or simply relax with a good book. The well-stocked collection ensures that there's something for everyone, from classics to contemporary

Bistro

Our on-site bistro is a welcoming place for residents to socialise with family, friends and fellow residents. Freshly baked goods are available throughout the day to tempt whilst relaxing in our comfortable seating.

Cinema

The cinema facility at Oyster Care Homes offers an immersive movie-watching experience. Residents can enjoy a wide range of films in a cozy, theatre-style setting, complete with refreshments and top- notch audio-visual equipment.

Sam has been in the Care Sector for 20 years and through this journey she has had the privilege of meeting amazing residents and working with amazing people. Sam finds great fulfilment and a sense of purpose in supporting those she cares for. One key thing she has learnt over the years is that communication and transparency are key to maintaining good relationships and to create a thriving team. Sam believes that no matter the style and size of home you live in, what’s most important is how you feel when you are there. Home is where you are free to be your authentic self, and this is certainly something that Sam strives for. Sam loves integrating with the residents and team members and bringing a sense of community within the Home creating a culture where Care is driven by those that receive it.

Karen has worked in health and social care for 40+ years, as a Registered Nurse and in a variety of Social Care settings, including working with children in the care of Social Services, homeless people, younger physically disabled adults and in elderly care. Karen is committed to providing the very best person centred care to clients, ensuring that they live life to the full and is delighted to be working for a company which shares the same values. When not at work Karen can often be found battling weeds on her allotment.

With over 25 years of experience, he has worked as a chef in various venues and at prestigious events, including Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, and Twickenham.

Recently moving to the care industry, he truly enjoys cooking for residents and listening to their feedback. Taking pride in ensuring their dietary needs and preferences are met with every meal.

In his leisure time, he enjoys reading cookery books, cycling, and playing five-a-side football.

Mark has worked as a maintenance gardener in the care industry for just over four years. During this time, he has gained extensive experience in the day-to-day operations of luxury care homes.

He finds his role highly rewarding, as it allows him to help residents feel safe in their new home and assists them in personalising their rooms by hanging pictures and decorations.

He trained as a gardener at Sparsholt College in 2020, and see’s potential in the beautiful, expansive grounds here at Rownhams Manor.
