Residents at Furze Field Manor recently took a moment to check on the spring bulbs they planted last autumn. Although the bulbs are yet to make an appearance, the real highlight of the day unfolded during a wonderful conversation that followed.
One of the residents, Derek, shared an inspiring story about his remarkable gardening achievements. With a twinkle in his eye, he told us about the time he was awarded an RHS Bronze Medal for growing an exceptional entry in the fruit and vegetable classes.
